After 11 wonderful seasons of bringing family fun to the Pacific Northwest, as of April 2022 Theater Under The Stars has (for the time being) ceased operations. With two lost summers due to Covid and now losing our lease on our outdoor performing location, we are sorry to announce this very sad setback. Obviously this means we will not have a 2022 Season and honestly, we don’t know what the future holds. We are still believers in good clean family entertainment that all ages can enjoy together, so hopefully a reboot can occur sometime in the future. Periodically check here for updates. We love the fun times we had together and thank you, our regular attendees, for making this endeavor so joyful and fulfilling. You’re the best! We hope to see you all again soon! Theater Under The Stars is simply about one thing: Family. It’s a place where families can come and have fun together. Since 2008, countless families have spent a fun-filled two hours with us creating family memories that will last a lifetime. Enchanting entertainment appropriate for ages 4 to 104, our live broad comedy farce musicals (that we call “Farsicals”)  make everyone in a family “laugh ‘til their cheeks hurt.”       In our original live productions, good always triumphs, true love is always mutual, evil is always vanquished (politely, of course!) and everyone leaves with a smile. What makes Theater Under The Stars so much fun is the improvised participation of you, the audience. At our theater, audiences get to “boo” the villain, “cheer” the hero and “sigh” at the beautiful ingénue. Actors will even step away from the action to speak “asides” to you and for once, you’ll be encouraged to talk back! Some audience members even get “into the act” by joining the performers on stage! An evening of live theater at Theater Under The Stars will take your breath away! (Don’t worry, all confiscated breaths will be returned prior to anyone returning home). Following intermission, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll roll on your belly like a reptile…at the comedy hijinks of our high-stepping “Olio” that we like to call our “Chelanigans!” Our wonderful cast returns to make sure your evening ends on a high note as they sing, dance, do some jokes and ultimately turn the show over to you, the audience as your participation kicks into high gear!
